CHIKANVEDA – RETURN POLICY

ChikanVeda strives to provide authentic, carefully selected and quality-checked apparel.
Because apparel is subject to hygiene, handling and resale considerations, returns are accepted only in accordance with this Policy and applicable consumer law.
1. Return Window
Eligible return requests must be submitted within [7] days from the date of delivery.
Each item is eligible for return only once.
The return window applicable to a particular product shall be displayed on the product page/order information where different.
2. Eligible Return Situations
A return may be accepted where the product is:

defective;

damaged during transit;

materially different from the product ordered;

the wrong size/product was supplied due to ChikanVeda’s error;

materially not as described.
For eligible customer-initiated returns permitted by ChikanVeda, the applicable return-shipping terms shall be displayed clearly.
3. Product Condition
Returned products must ordinarily be:

unused;
-
unworn;
-
unwashed;
-
unaltered;
-
free from perfume, makeup, stains, body odour or other marks;

returned with original tags and packaging where reasonably available;
-
accompanied by the relevant order information.
4. Products That May Not Be Returnable
Subject to applicable law and product-specific disclosures, certain products may be excluded from return because of:

hygiene considerations;
-
customisation;
-
alteration;
-
made-to-order production;
-
personalised embroidery;
-
damage caused after delivery;
-
use or washing;
-
removal of tags;
-
customer-requested modifications.
Any such exclusion shall be disclosed clearly before purchase.
5. Handmade and Handcrafted Variations
ChikanVeda products may contain handcrafted embroidery and artisan workmanship.
Minor variations in:

embroidery;
-
thread placement;
-
weave;
-
texture;
-
colour;
-
finishing;
may naturally occur and shall not automatically be treated as defects.
However, this does not exclude genuine manufacturing defects or products materially different from their description.
6. Size-Related Returns
Customers should carefully review the size chart before ordering.
A size-related return, where offered, shall be subject to the applicable product-page return terms.
If a product has been altered or customised at the customer’s request, it may not be eligible for return except where required by law or where the product is defective/wrongly supplied.

For incomplete or incorrect items, a clear unboxing video is required.
8. Quality Verification
ChikanVeda may inspect returned products to verify the stated issue and eligibility.
Inspection shall not be used to unlawfully deny a legitimate consumer claim.
9. Return Pickup
Where return pickup is offered, ChikanVeda or its logistics partner may arrange pickup.
Where pickup is unavailable, the customer may be instructed regarding the applicable return procedure.
10. Wrong or Defective Product
If ChikanVeda confirms that a product is wrong, defective or materially damaged before delivery, ChikanVeda may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:

replacement;

exchange;
-
return and refund;

another remedy required or permitted under applicable law.
11. Refund for Approved Returns
Refunds for approved returns shall be processed in accordance with the Refund Policy.
12. Fraudulent or Abusive Return Activity
ChikanVeda may investigate suspected fraudulent or abusive return activity, including:

repeated use of products followed by return;
-
materially different products being returned;
-
used/damaged products being falsely claimed as defective;

manipulation of return processes.
Any action taken shall be subject to applicable law.
13. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits statutory consumer rights.
